Sapmi Nature Camp

An indigenous Sami owned and operated glamping site in the Laponia world heritage area, less than 1 hour drive from the Arctic towns of Jokkmokk and Gällivare. The owner, Lennart Pittja is a Sami from a reindeer herding family on this land and the location of the camp in unspoiled nature on the shore of Lule River is unique.

This is the place where you will learn about the true life and culture of the indigenous Sami people in a personal, small-scale and sustainable way. You will stay in comfortable, warm and cozy lavvu tents and there’s always a local host present during your stay here.

The camp has 5 double rooms and most of our meals are served in the cosy log cabin in the middle of the glamping site.
